People and their supernatural realm.
The concept of the otherworld exists across the world in religions and folklore. From Nirvana in Buddhist teaching to Avalon from the Arthurian legend. In this series of studies, we examine what is a supernatural realm to individuals - a paradise, a spiritual fulfillment, or a means to stay connected with the loved ones? Furthermore, we investigate how these beliefs drive actions, impacting individuals and their interactions with others.

See you on the other side
Individuals differ in their willingness to believe there is an afterlife and how an afterlife may be appealing to them. In this study, by examining demographic properties, we aim to depict how beliefs in and desires for an afterlife vary among different ethnic, religious, and cultural groups.

Thinking about an afterlife can reduce anxiety and provide a sense of tranquillity (Flannery et al., 2008, 2012). In this study, we explore whether these psychological impacts extend to interpersonal behaviours. Specifically, grudge holding.
